About the Branch

The Goa Branch of WIRC of ICAI was established on the 4th of July 1974 with a strength of about 50 members back then. Since then, the Branch has grown tremendously and currently has a membership of more than 600 members. The Branch has recently inaugurated the ICAI Bhawan, state of an art building at Kadamba Plateau,  Plot No.31, New National Highway 4A, Tiswadi, Goa 403006 on 08th February 2022 at the hands of the Honourable Governor for the State of Goa Shri. P.S. Sreedharan Pillai. It is constructed on land measuring 1730 sq. mtrs with a constructed area of about 1102 sq. mtrs having ground + 2 floors consisting of an auditorium of the capacity of approx. 125 pax, canteen, computer lab, reading room, lecture room, library, guest faculty room, board room, chairman’s room, administrative block, guard room, and parking area.

Branch currently functions from its present owned premises located at Kamat Tower, Patto, Panaji Goa and plans to move the entire organisational setup to the new ICAI Bhawan building very soon. To date, Branch has conducted several physical events at ICAI Bhawan.

Both the locations are conveniently located in the capital city of Panaji and are also extremely well connected by road and public transport.

The Branch endeavors towards organising programs and activities around the year covering all important segments such as finance, banking, cooperation, IFRS, taxes, and cooperation for the benefit of members and students.
